Our SENIOR MANAGEMENT
Angie Rhode
Angie joined Essential in January 2001 as our Office Administrator. Over the next 24 months, she took over the responsibilities of Lead ISO Auditor and Financial Management.
in 2010, she was promoted to Divisional Manager of Finance and Admin. Between 2016 and 2020 she did several UCT courses and achieved her Post Graduate Diploma in Management Practise.
Eric van Niekerk

Eric has come from the unique position of being one of our first customers in the early 1990s to General Manager of Operations and Sales.
After decades of international senior management experience on numerous continents, Eric chose to return home in October 2018 and we took the opportunity to bring him into the Essential family.
Nuraan Daames
General Manager: People Management
Nuraan joined Essential in February 2005 as a receptionist, before moving through departments including stores and specialised services. She was promoted to Wage Manager in 2013.
Nuraan won Manager of the Month twice in 2013 and then 2014 and became Manager of the Year for 2014. In 2017 she was again promoted, assuming the role of Divisional Manager, Human Resources. She has completed the Human Resource Management course at UCT in November 2023.
Nuraan was promoted to General Manager: People Management in February 2024
Andre Ferreira
Andre came to Essential in June 2017 after years in the service industry.
Proving himself as a stand-out sector manager, he was promoted to divisional manager, operations in April 2023.
He is responsible for the day to day running of all our staff and contacts.
